For over 20 years, Ruth Bardenstein has specialized in strategic decision making, strategy development and implementation, and business process performance improvement.

In helping organizations move from strategy to implementation, she employs an interactive, hands-on approach that has proven to be particularly effective in helping teams gain a shared understanding of high-value strategies, risks and tradeoffs.

Prior to founding Burns Park Consulting, Ms. Bardenstein was a partner at Strategic Business Processes, Inc., which offers consulting, coaching and seminars in decision and risk analysis. She also served as Manager of Quality and Reliability Analysis for The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC), a firm specializing in analysis, development and logistics of advanced technologies for government and commercial industry.

Ms. Bardenstein earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Public Policy degree—also from the University of Michigan—and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from MIT. More recently, she received an MFA degree in Studio Arts from Eastern Michigan University.

Among her many civic and volunteer activities, she has served on the Boards of numerous non-profits in the Ann Arbor area.
